Growing up with large families – 26 siblings between the two – Kyle and Amy Norris were no strangers to serving large groups of people. Kyle had a passion for barbecue ever since he first laid a slab of ribs over an open fire, and it only grew from there.

After years of practice and fine-tuning the perfect sparerib and pork butt serving their family and friends over the years, people said it was some of the best they ever had and suggested they monetize their bbq. With the passion, demand, and the enjoyment of watching people enjoy great bbq, Kyle knew it was what he wanted to do. So he purchased his first smoker, served his first event, and the rest is history!

With Amy’s vision and excellent decorating skills, and Big Kyle and Kyle Jr. serving as the pit masters, they’ve received numerous 5-star reviews and continue to make a great family bbq team.

With the exception of a much bigger smoker, not much has changed since the beginning. Today, Big Kyle BBQ continues bringing real, authentic, and delicious smoked bbq service and catering to the people throughout Virginia, Maryland, and DC at parties, weddings, festivals, fairs, private events, and everything in-between.
